Is the solution unique?
Yes for every shipped case. Four records and three one-to-one categories produce 4! × 4! = 576 assignments once the first category anchors the records. The solver checks all of them when a case opens. A separate independent oracle also checks the original release fixtures.
Is there a completely new puzzle every day?
The daily UTC selection rotates through the current library of 24 original fixed cases. It is a daily choice from that library, not an unlimited supply of new cases. The archive and stable case IDs let you replay any case.
How do I finish a grid?
Find all 12 matching pairs across the three category-pair grids. Mark a match with a check and an exclusion with a cross. Unknown pairs show a question mark. Every value belongs to exactly one record, and a match does not automatically modify other cells.
What makes the hints explainable?
Each hint shows the clues and existing board marks needed for its conclusion. It enumerates all assignments consistent with those premises and verifies that none permits the opposite result. Unnecessary premises are removed, though this is not necessarily the shortest human explanation.
Can I save or transfer my progress?
Enable optional browser saving to resume on the same browser and origin. You can also export a progress JSON file and restore it on another device. There is no account or cloud synchronization. Browser restrictions or clearing site data may remove local saves.
Can a friend play the same case?
Yes. The spoiler-free share text contains a link with the case ID, so your friend can open the same fixed case and solve it independently. It does not contain the solution, your marks or a live shared room.
